Description:	The Institute for Transportation at Iowa State University has released a report that examines ways to mitigate the risk of highway accidents and fatalities in work zones. The report presents a formal risk management model, which takes the form of a 6-step process that can be used to identify, assess, and respond to risks across all stages of the project life-cycle of any highway construction project.
