The National Center for Intermodal Transportation (NCIT) and the Intermodal Transportation Institute (ITI) at the University of Denver are teaming up to offer a two and a half day training program entitled "Intermodal Freight Transportation and the Public Planning Process" in Denver, Colorado. This training event will start at noon on Monday October 12, 2009. This training program will cover the basic economic factors that influence shipping and carrier decisions, how data and analysis can be used to develop the most cost effective strategies, how the supply chain affects their communities, and how to develop a state or regional freight plan. |
